EXAMINATION NOTICE No. 05/2023 - CSP
Union Public Service Commission has announced the exam notification for the Civil Services Prelims Examination 2013. Eligible candidates can apply online by using the website upsconline.nic.in. applicant are required to register himself/herself first at One Time Registration (OTR) platform, available on the Commission’s website, and then proceed for filling up the online application for the examination. If you are already registered with OTR platform, you can proceed for filling up the exam form through online application link given below.
Important Dates
- Online application begin from: 1st February 2023
- Last Date for Application & Fee Payment: 21st February 2023
- Application Form Correction/Changes: 22nd to 28th February 2023
- Civil Services Preliminary Exam Date: 28th May 2023
- Admit Card Download: Three weeks before the the exam
Application Fee
- General / OBC / EWS : Rs. 100/-
- SC / ST / PH : Rs. 0/- (Exempted)
- All Category Female : Rs. 0/- (Nil)
- Fee Payment Mode: Through Debit/Credit Card (Visa/Master/RuPay) & UPI Payment.
Important Documents
Scanned documents: Certificates in support of Date of birth, Address proof, Category {viz. SC/ST/ OBC (without OBC Annexure) /EWS [Economically Weaker Sections] (without EWS Annexure) /PwBD / Ex-Serviceman}, Photo and Signature.
Exam Pattern & Number of Posts
The Examination shall comprise of two compulsory Papers of 200 marks each.
(i) Both the question papers will be of the objective type (multiple choice
questions) and each will be of two hours duration. "
(ii) The General Studies Paper-II of the Civil Services (Preliminary)
Examination will be a qualifying paper with minimum qualifying marks fixed at
33%.
(iii) The question papers will be set both in Hindi and English.
(iv) Details of the syllabi are indicated in Part A of Section III.
