Science & Technology
Now, look at Science & Technology and according to the previous years questions there are three broad classification we can make. One is on the areas of technology and Latest Development of Science & Technology which comes in the daily newspaper.
Second areas is the everyday science. UPSC these days, they are not interested in simple facts and figures, they are not asking any factual type question. And if you see last three years questions, there is no factual question. So, what you should learn is Application of Science and Understanding. For example - how Tube Light works or how a DVD works etc.
And the third area in Science & Technology is our Life Sciences (only human aspects) like diseases, vitamins and all aspects of our life and specially the biotechnology, application of technology in disease caring and all those things.
